Dahi Bada/ Vada/ Bhalla

Dahi bada/ bhalla India ka ek bahut hi famous street food/ fast food hai aur lagbhag har ghar may ye banaya aur pasand kiya jata hai

Ye alag alag tarike se banta hai

Aaj mai moong ki dal se bana bada share kar rahi hu

Ingredients

For making bada/ vada

Moong dal (yellow)- 2 cup

Hing- a pinch

Oil for Moyan- 2 tsps

Jeera- 1/4 tsp

Salt- 3/4 tsp

Oil for deep frying

Other Ingredients

Dahi- chaan kar ek bowl may rakh lijiye

Bhuna jeera powder

Lal mirch powder

Salt to taste

Black salt to taste

Imli chutney

Method

For Bada:-

Moong dal ko acche se dhokar 3-4 hours bheega de

Ab iska pani chaan de aur ise thoda thick pis.le (paste bana le)

Ab ek bowl may dale aur ismay oil, namak, hing aur jeera milakar kuch der faint le

Ab oil garam kare aur ismay bada fry kare aap ise do tareke se bana saktey hai

1st katori use karke (katori ko kapde may lapet kar)

2nd Direct kapde pe

Ab ise golden brown hone tak fry kare

Ab is bade ko pani may dale

Pani may dalney ke baad iska colour thoda light ho jayega

Ab pani change kar de aur raat bhar ya 4-5 hours rehney de

Ab dahi chaan lijiye

Ismay salt and black salt mix kare (aap chaho toh bade may upar se bhi sprinkle kar saktey hai)

Ab bade ko hatho se halka sa press karke excess pani nikal de aur dahi may dal de

Kuch der usi may rehney de (aap ise fridge may bhi rakh saktey hai)

Ab jab serve karna ho tab ismay upar se lal mirch, bhuna jeera powder, imli ki meethi chutney dalkar thanda serve kare

Note:-

Agar aapko pasand ho toh aap dahi bada ke upar bareek kata pyaz, sev, hara dhaniya aur hari chutney bhi dal saktey hai

Kuch log moong dal ko grind karte time thodi si hari mirch aur ginger bhi add kartey hai

Agar batter patla ho jaye toh aap ise acche se faint kar spoon se bhi bada bana saktey hai (ek bada spoon batter bhar kar garam oil may dale aur baki procedure same rahega)
