Chole/ Kaale chole (using tea leaves)

Chole bhature ek bahut hi famous dish hai aur baccho ka bhi favourite 😀😀😀

 

Ladoo ney sabse pehli bar kisi dish ka naam aur demand jab ki thi toh yahi tha aur usney tut laate hue kaha tha “Chatuda Batuda Taana Hai” 🤣🤣🤣….. aur yeh naam sunkar hum sab pareshani may ki yeh hai kya chiz 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ baad may inhoney hi make out kiya ki aakhir ye bol kya raha hai 😂😂😂

Mere yaha kai tarike se chole bantey hai isliye koi perfect recipe nahi hai ki yahi chole banege

 

Aaj chole ki sabji ko kala rang dene ke liye tea leaves ka use kiya hai sath hi garlic bhi jyada add kiya hai 😀😀😀Here goes the recipe

Ingredients

Chole (kabuli chana)- 1 glass (2 cup)

Chana dal- 1/2 katori

Pyaz- 1-2

Tamatar- 1

Imli paste- 2-3 tsp (jitna khatta pasand ho)

Garlic- 8-10 cloves

Ginger- 2-3″

Hari mirch- 2-4

Khada masala- tez patta, laung, elaichi, dal chini,

Rai- 1/4 tsp

Kitchen king masala- 2 tsp

Chole masala- 2-3 tsp

Garam masala- 1/2- 1 tsp

Black pepper- 1 tsp (as per your taste)

Black salt to taste

Salt to taste

Haldi- 1/4 tsp

Oil

Chai patti- 2 tsp (ya 1 tea bag) agar tea bag na ho toh chai patti ko ek saff aur patle kapde may bandh kar use kare

Method

Chole aur dal ko acche se dhookar 6-8 hours ke liye bheega de aur phir cooker may dal aur chana sath may chai patti ki potli (tea bag) thoda sa salt, pani aur haldi dalkar 4-5 siti lagaye (agar na gale ho toh aur siti lagaye)

(Agar jaldi banana ho toh garam pani ko casserole may dale aur 1 tsp soda aur chole dal kar band kar de 1-2 hours ke baad may dhookar boil kare)

Make a fine paste of:- ginger, garlic, green chillies

Pyaz aur tamatar mila kar smooth paste bana le

Imli ko kuch der bheega de thode se pani may phir usko masal kar chaan le Imli paste ready

Kadai may oil garam kare aur rai dale

Jab rai tadakney lage tab khada masala dale aur 2-4 second ke baad ginger- garlic paste dal kar bhuney

Ab ismay pyaz wala paste dalkar oil chorne tak seke

Ab sare masaley (black pepper chorkar) dalkar thoda sa pani dale aur acche se seke

Jab masala bhun jaye tab black pepper, black salt, imli paste, boiled chole aur dal (uske pani ke sath) dale aur 4-5 ubal de ya jitni thick gravy chahiye tab tak boil kare

Bareek kata hara dhaniya mila le

Note:-

Is chole ki gravy thandi ho kar thodi thick ho jaati hai

Black salt aur black pepper se ismay ek different aur chatpata taste aata hai

Agar aapke pass imli paste na ho toh aap tamatar jyada ya amchur bhi add kar saktey hai
