Suji/ Rava/ Semolina Dhokla

Suji Dhokla

Quick, easy and light ūüėÄūüėÄūüėÄ

Here goes the recipe

Ingredients

Suji- 2 cup

Dahi- 1 cup (in summer season add little amount of curd)

Water- 1-1.5 cup (as required)

Salt to taste

Eno- 1 sachet (1 tsp)

For Tempting

Oil- 2-3 tsp

Rai/ sarso/ mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp

Hari mirch- chopped

Curry patta- 10-12

Lal mirch- 2 chutkey optional

Hara dhaniya bareek kata hua

Method

Suji may dahi, namak aur pani milakar thick batter banaye aur raat bhar ya 5-6 hours fermentation ke liye rakh de

Next morning agar jaroorat ho toh thoda sa pani aur milale

Ab dhokla sancha ko oil se grease kare

Dhokla batter may eno mix kare aur acche se mix kare aur dhokla sancha may dale aur  dhak kar tez aanch par 15-20 min ke liye steam kare

Check kare ki dhokla kaccha toh nahi (knife ko dhokla ke bich may dale aur nikal kar dekhe just like hum cake check karte hai) agar kaccha lage toh kuch der aur steam kare

Nikal kar thanda kare aur chote chote pieces kar ke chowk le

For Tempering

Oil garam kare aur sarso dale

Jab sarso tadakney lage tab hari mirch aur curry patta dale

Ab lal mirch dale aur mix kartey hue turant dhokla ke pieces dalkar acche se mix karle

Bareek kata hara dhaniye se garnish kare aur nariyal chutney ke sath serve kare
