Aloo Jhol (dahi wala)

Dahi wali aloo jhol ki sabji har Marwadi ke ghar banti hi hai ūüėÄūüėÄūüėÄ

Ye ek Rajasthani dish hai jise dahi ki gravy may banaya jata hai jiski wajah se ye thodi khatti aur badi swad ho jati hai

Mere ghar ye sabji vrat may bhi banatey hai bas tab haldi aur jeera nahi daltey aur regular salt ki jagah hum sendha namak ka use karte hai

Here goes the recipe

Ingredients

Aloo (boiled)- 4-5 (cut into pieces)

Dahi- 1 cup (beaten/ chaan le)

Salt to taste

Lal mirch powder- 1 tsp

Haldi- 1/2 tsp

Jeera- 1/4 tsp

Curry patta- 4-5

Hari mirch- 1-2 finely chopped

Ginger- 2″ grated

Oil- 1-2 tsp

Method

Dahi ko chaan le ya ache se faint le taki uska texture smooth ho jaye

Kadai may oil garam kare aur jeera dale

Ab ismay hari mirch, curry patta aur kisa hua adrakh dale aur sauté kare

Ab boil karke cut kiye hue aloo dale

Sath hi lal mirch, haldi aur namak mila de

Kuch der sek kar dahi mila de

(Aap bina aloo ko seke bhi dahi mila saktey hai)

Jaroorat ke hisab se pani add kare aur 5-6 ubal aaney de

Utar kar hara dhaniya mila de

Garma garam phulka ke sath iska maza le
