Crispy Okra/ Bhindi

Crispy Okra with a dash of Khopra ūüėÄūüėÄūüėÄ


Deep fried okras (bhindi), some spices, crushed roasted peanuts and fresh/ desiccated khopra (coconut)


You can serve this dish as a starter with hot/ cold beverages else you can have it as a main course

Here goes the recipe 

Ingredients 

Bhindi- 1/2 kg diagonally cut ki hui (wash karke poch lijiye aur cut kar lijiye)

Desiccated/ Fresh coconut- 1/2 cup grated (I used desiccated coconut 2-3 tbsp or as per your taste)

Crushed roasted peanuts- 1/2 cup (dry roast peanuts)

Salt to taste

Red chilli powder- 1 tsp or less

Amchur- 1/2- 3/4 tsp

Oil for deep frying

Method 

Bhindi/ Okra ko diagonally cut kar le

 

Bhindi ko garam oil may crispy hone tak fry kare

 

Ab bhindi ko nikal kar uspe namak, lal mirch aur amchur sprinkle kare aur acche se mix kar le

Dry roast peanuts

Ab ise dardara pis le ya crush kar le

Ab bhindi may fresh grated nariyal (ya nariyal chura) aur peanuts dal kar mix kare

Ek kadai may bhindi ko 2 min sek le

Jab Nariyal seekney ki halki khushboo aane lage tab nikal le
