Aloo Petha/Makhna/Kaddu/Pumpkin sabji



Aloo Petha/Makhna/Kaddu (pumpkin) ki chatpati sabji puriyo ke sath bahut achi lagti hai aur maze ki baat ye hai ki jin logo ko pumpkin nahi pasand woh bhi khaa lete hai aur unhe pata bhi nahi chalta ūüėāūüėāūüėāūüėā

Mere ghar par lagbhag har dusre sunday ye banti hi hai 

Garma garam puri (sadi ya stuffed like matar kachori) sath may chatpati sabji aur coffee……. bas maza hi aa jaata hai

Aur haan mere Ladoo ko iske sath may choti choti puriya bana kar deti hu jisse dekh kar woh bahut khush ho jaata hai aur apni ungliyo se puriyo ko phodkar usko bada maza aata hai ūüėÄūüėÄūüėÄ

Here goes the recipe 

Ingredients 

Aloo- 4 (cut into big pieces)

Makhna(pumpkin)- 1 cup/150 gms (cut into small pieces)

Make a thick paste:

Tomatoes- 3

Ginger- 2″

Green chillies- 2-3

Curry patta- 5-6

Masala:

Lal mirch pwd- 1 tsp

Haldi-1/2 tsp

Dhaniya pwd-2 tsp

Garam masala- 1/2 tsp (optional)

Sugar -1 tsp (you can also replace sugar with 2-3 tsps meethi imli ki chutney)

Salt

Tadka:

Panchmel chownk- 1 tsp

(Sarso/rai, jeera, saunff, methi dana, ajwain)

Oil

Hing- 1 chutki

Tez patta- 1-2

Laung- elaichi- 2-2

Dal chini- 2-3″ ke 2 tukde

Other ingredients:

Dahi- 2-3 tbsp (if you don’t like sour taste you can add 2 tsps malai/ cream)

Method 

Cooker may oil garam kare panchmel chownk dale jab tadakne lage tab hing dale aur 2-3 second ke baad tez patta, laung- elaichi, dal chini dale



Ab aloo aur makhna dale aur mix karde


Ab tamatar paste dalde aur namak, lal mirch, haldi, dhaniya dale aur pani dalkar mix kare



Cooker band karke 2-3 siti lagaye
Jab cooker khul jaye tab ismay garam masala, dahi aur chini mila kar do minute paka kar dhaniya patta mila de






Garam garam puri, Matar kachori  ya chawal ke sath serve kare
