Tava Pulao/ Pavbhaji Pulao

Bacchpan se khaati aa rahi hu 😀😀 par ab pata chala ki ise hi Tava Pulao kehte hai 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Ye mainey meri mummy se sikha tha… jab hum chote thay toh ye pavbhaji ke thele par bikta tha aur hum sab bade chaaw se khaatey thay…. teekha rehne ke baawjud bhi see see karna aur khaana jaroori tha…. woh bhi kya din thay 😀😀😀

Bacchpan aur tabke khaaney ka swad zindagi bhar muh may pani le aata hai 😋😋😋

Here goes the recipe 

Ingredients 

Steamed rice- 2 cup

Capsicum- 1 small (bade pieces may kata hua)

Onion- 1 (finely chopped)

Boiled potatoes- 1-2 small (cut into big pieces) (optional)

Tomato- 1 roughly chopped

Cabbage- 1/2 cup chopped (optional)

Peas- 1/4 cup (boiled/ frozen)

Jeera- 1/4 tsp

Salt

Lal mirch powder-1/2 tsp

Haldi- 1/4 tsp

Pav bhaji masala- 1 tsp

Ginger- Garlic- Green chilli paste- 2 tsps

(1″ ginger, 2-3 cloves garlic and 1-2 chillies)

Oil

Butter

Lemon juice- 1 tsp (as per your taste)

Method 

Ek gehre tave may butter aur thoda sa oil garam kare

(Mainey jyada quantity may pulao banaya hai isliye tave ki jagah kadai use ki hai)

Ab ismay jeera dale

Jab jeera tadakney lage tab ismay ginger garlic paste add kare aur sauté kare


Ab ismay sabjiya dale aur mix kare aur kuch der dheeme aanch par dhak kar pakaye

(Agar tave par bana rahe hai toh halka sa pani bhi sprinkle kare taki jale na)

Jab sabji halki gal jaye (adhkacchi) tab lal mirch, haldi aur pavbhaji masala dal kar kuch der seke


Sabji halki juicy si honi chahiye agar na ho toh halka sa pani sprinkle kar de aur masher se halke halke mash bhi kar sakte hai

Ab ismay steamed rice, namak aur nimboo ras mila de


Ache se mix kare aur kuch der paka kar utar le

Note:- spices aap apne taste ke according kam ya jyada kar sakte hai

Ye pulao halka sa gila sa hota hai means ye ekdum sukha sukha sa nahi banta isliye aap halka sa pani istemal karke adjust kar sakte hai
